The climate of Waterford (Ireland)
Waterford is located in the south eastern part of Ireland. It has more hours of sunshine than other parts of Ireland because of its favourable location. The warm Gulf Stream is responsible for the growth of varied vegetation on and along the beaches of Woodstone and Tramore. Several unique species live here as well. Temperatures are the same here as they are in other parts of Ireland. Winters are mild because of the influence of the sea and summers are not too warm
