The climate of Haifa (Israel)
Haifa is located on the Mediterranean coast and is the most important port in the northern part of Israel. Many industrial companies as well as a few important technological companies can be found here. The city also has two universities. The city is very old, during its history Haifa was ruled by several cultures and other nations. Haifa is the most important center in the Bahá'í faith, this is also why the city is a Unesco world heritage site. This religion is a combination of several large religions and acknowledges many prophets such as Muhammad, Jesus, Moses and Buddha. The many different buildings and gardens of this religion are beautiful and attract many tourists every year. Haifa has a warm Mediterranean climate characterized by mild and rainy winters. Temperatures do drop during the winter but remain pleasantly mild. High precipitation figures can be expected during autumn. During early spring temperatures start to rise. During the entire summer temperatures are pleasantly warm to very warm. Precipitation is uncommon during the summer.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather, extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate information for each month of the year:
