The climate of Portofino (Italy)
The beautiful village of Portofino is located in the Bay of Genoa on the Italian Riviera. Portofino’s harbour is among the most beautiful in the Mediterranean Sea and attracts the well-to-do who show off their wealth on their yachts along the coast. The harbor and the surroundings of Portofino are truly picturesque and have attracted many artists over the centuries. When you visit Portofino you should take a walk up the mountain toward Castello di San Giorgio. From here you have a spectacular view over the entire area. Because Portofino is situated in between two mountains it has a very mild climate. Extreme weather conditions hardly ever occur. Summers are pleasantly warm without being too hot. During the winter temperatures below 10 degrees.
