The climate of Bamburi Beach (Kenya)
Bamburi Beach is located on the east coast of Kenya just north of Mombassa. This popular holiday resort attracts many tourists every year. Most tourists come here to enjoy the beach, sun and sea. Because of the breath taking underwater world deep sea diving and snorkeling are popular activities. Many hotels can be found along the beach; most of the hotels also have large swimming pools. Bamburi Beach has a tropical monsoon climate with a distinct rainy period during spring. During these months large amounts of precipitation fall. Temperatures are around 30 degrees Celsius all year round. Because Bamburi Beach is situated close to the equator UV-index figures are high; we advise you to apply sunscreen with a high protection factor.
