The climate of Biddinghuizen (the Netherlands)
Biddinghuizen is a village located in the eastern part of the
Flevoland province and is part of the Dronten municipality. The
village is known because it is situated in the vicinity of the Walibi
Holland amusement park. This amusement park has had several different
names over the past few years: Flevohof, Walibi Flevo, Six Flags
Holland and Walibi World. Next to the amusement park is the huge area
which is the venue for several festivals held here every year. The
best known are Lowlands and Defqon.1 Festival. Biddinghuizen has a
moderate sea climate with four distinct seasons. However, there are
fewer differences between temperatures than in other climate types.
During the winter temperatures are around freezing point. During the
summer temperatures are just above 20 degrees Celsius on average.
