The climate of 's-Hertogenbosch (the Netherlands)
's-Hertogenbosch (also Den Bosch in Dutch) is an exuberant town
located in the south eastern part of the Netherlands. ‘s Hertogenbosch
was founded in late medieval times. The city still breathes the
atmosphere of medieval times. Besides modern shopping streets there
are many small streets with beautiful old buildings and cosy small
shops situated along the Grote Markt (Great Square). During the summer
the cultural Boulevard festival is held. Plays are performed
throughout the town in the most unusual locations. You can also have a
nice dinner or a drink in one of the many cafes and restaurants. ‘s
Hertogenbosch has a moderate sea climate with mild winters and
pleasant summers. Because of the influence of the sea temperatures are
quite stable. However, precipitation falls on a regular basis.
Especially during spring and fall reasonable amounts of rain can be
expected.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression
of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain
period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather,
extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate
information for each month of the year:
