The climate of Roosendaal (the Netherlands)
Roosendaal is an exuberant municipality in West Brabant. This Milan of
the province of North Brabant offers many trendy shopping facilities
such as the Rosada Factory Outlet and the picturesque city center. In
the charming alleys and on the cosy squares you can find shops you
will not easily find anywhere else. Don’t forget to walk through the
nicely decorated passage. There is always something to do in
Roosendaal. The many culinary festivals, shows and happenings make
Roosendaal a paradise of taste. This is also why master chef Jeremy
Vermolen has his restaurant here. Roosendaal has a moderate maritime
climate. Especially during fall and winter large amounts of rain can
be expected. During the pleasant summer months showers are not
uncommon. A striking fact is that Roosendaal is usually spared the
heavy rain coming from the south or south west. Because of the
influence of the Scheldt heavy rain and thunder storms usually pass
Roosendaal in the west or east. Neighboring cities such as Breda,
Etten Leur and Bergen op Zoom usually get the full works.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression
of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain
period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather,
extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate
information for each month of the year:
