The climate of Moraira (Spain)
Moraira is located on the Costa Blanca and forms a municipality in the Valencia province with the city of Teulada which is located about 4 kilometers into the interior. The village was spared the high rise buildings you see everywhere else; this explains why it has retained its authentic character. In the harbor you can still find an old fish auction where you can buy fresh fish for your barbecue. The Mediterranean climate in this fishing village on the Costa Blanca is said to be one of the healthiest in the world. Just like the rest of the Costa Blanca Moraira gets more than 300 sunny days per year. Summers are warm but not too hot because of an ever blowing sea breeze. If you book a holiday in Moraira you should bear its situation in mind. When you book a villa or holiday house which is enclosed by other houses and is situated further into the interior you will not benefit much from the sea breeze.
