The climate of Paducah (Kentucky

Paducah is a small city located in the most western part of Kentucky.
The city is located in McCracken County on the spot where the
Tennessee River and the Ohio River flow into each other. Paducah is
known for its quilting. Every year tens of thousands of people visit
the annual quilt meeting. The national quilt museum can also be found
in Paducah.
Paducah has a warm maritime climate with characteristics of a warm
continental climate. summers are pleasantly warm. However, during the
summer nights may be cold. Winters are cold and longer periods with
subzero temperatures are not uncommon. Precipitation is quite evenly
spread out over the year. During the winter precipitation may fall in
the form of sleet or snow.
