The climate of Akron (Ohio - United States of America)
Akron is located in the northeastern part of the state of Ohio. The city is located in the vicinity of Lake Erie on the banks of the Little Cuyahoga River. The city is known for its rubber and rubber industry. Almost all major car tire manufacturers are based here. Several museums and theaters can be found here as well.
Akron has a warm continental climate with cold winters and warm summers. During the winter heavy snowstorms are not uncommon. The continental climate is very erratic here making it hard to offer long term weather predictions for this region.
